For whoever is not against us is for us

There has been so much infighting and sniping among Catholics and between Protestants and Catholics online recently. TLM attacking NO. Calling Catholics non-Christians. Calling Protestants heretics. Mocking beliefs.

In light of this behavior, this morning's Gospel reading struck home: Mark 9:38-40 John said to Jesus, "Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us."
Jesus replied, "Do not prevent him. There is no one who performs a mighty deed in my name who can at the same time speak ill of me. For whoever is not against us is for us."

We are all Christians, and we need to treat each other as brothers and sisters, and to seek what we have in common.

Otherwise, we are playing into the hands of the enemy

Pax et bonum
