The new year has begun with some things I hope to accomplish getting off to a good start for the most part.
I got to Mass, said morning prayers and a Rosary, read the Bible, and read some Wimsey. I also worked on Santa's Diary. I will shortly be doing some spiritual reading.
Eating? I fell short there. My only excuse is there are a lot of candy and treats left over from Christmas and New Year's. They should be cleared out in another couple of days, then I get serious.

I've discovered that trying to start a healthy diet "after the holidays" is fraught, thanks to all the lingering sweet treats and left overs. Maybe mid-January is a more achievable time frame?
