The Golden Thread by Louis de Wohl

Just finished another Louis de Wohl book. This one was about St. Ignatius Loyola - The Golden Thread.

As is usual with de Wohl, the side characters play prominent roles, and the saint is important, but not necessarily the lone or main focus. That's fine; the side story, often involving a romance, hold one's attention, and the saint information gets dealt with in a more realistic manner, and not in a hagiographic way. The other characters and their reactions serve as filters.

I enjoyed it, as I have the other books by him I've read. And I look forward to reading more of his books.

Pax et bonum
