If I die

If I die

And my blood and flesh become unsubstantial dew to quench
                   the thirsty earth,
And my bones become hollow channels for wind and water,
And my memory fades from my children's children's thoughts,

My love for you
                           would still fill the horizon
                                                                      like a rainbow
                                                                                             after the storm.

Pax et bonum
