Former Vice President Joe Biden's press secretary, Jen Psaki, has become a favorite among some folks (i.e. the media and Trump haters), some of whom refer to her retorts as "Psaki Bombs."
Other folks, of course, despise her because she works for Biden.
I'm in the middle. I'm not a fan, but she seems to be doing okay in the job. She is personable enough, though a little bland. She has said things that were not quite true, but that's to be expected given her position and for whom she works. And she either is really ill-informed, or is using that dodge of ignorance to avoid giving answers. Meanwhile, a tweet from last year has surfaced that, if it had been made by a Trump spokesperson, would have lead to a chorus of calls for resignation. But the media likes Biden and her, so ...
All that aside, the Psaki Bomb label caught my fancy. I've now written three of my own poetic "Psaki Bombs."
A Psaki Bomb
Condemn all joking homophobic
unless the joker's Democratic
A Standard Issue Psaki Bomb
When you try to mask a lack
just declare you'll circle back.
A Sin-sere Psaki Bomb
When pressed about matters moral or divine
simply select a response from the cafeteria line.
